Dr. Evan Schwarz grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, where he developed a deep love for animals. He spent his childhood playing in the creek behind his house with his family’s Labrador retrievers and caring for various pets including hamsters, a budgie, and ferrets. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a minor in Animal Ecology from Iowa State University before pursuing his professional doctorate at the University of Illinois’ College of Veterinary Medicine.

After veterinary school, Dr. Schwarz relocated to Pennsylvania and is thrilled to be on the dedicated team at Glenmoore Veterinary Hospital.

Passionate about veterinary medicine, Dr. Schwarz finds fulfillment in enhancing the relationship between owners and their pets, believing it contributes to the well-being of both. His interests span across all facets of veterinary care, with a particular focus on surgery, advanced imaging, and dentistry.

Outside of work, Dr. Schwarz enjoys cooking, running, hiking, and exploring alongside his significant other.
